Curtains frustrate the hell out of me, so much so that I often just give up on using them.
A CC creator I follow mentioned releasing a curtain set with the snapping turned off, and that made a little light bulb go off in my brain. Is it possible to edit curtains - both base game and CC - so that they don't snap to windows? How would I go about doing this, if so?

Hi, are you saying the CC creator's curtains don't snap to windows? If so, if you point me to the download I can try to see how it's done.

It's not released yet - the creator was asking if their followers would like the curtains not to snap to windows. So I'm assuming that because they're offering this, it's actually possible, but there's nothing to download (yet).

In terms of creating CC this is probably one of the easier things to accomplish and all done in the Warehouse. The only resource that would need editing is the Object Catalog. To make an override of a complete set of swatches for one curtain type follow these steps: - Check the radio button for Selective Clone and click the Object button
- Select the curtain you want to modify from the list and click Next
- In the pop up window check All Swatches and Catalogs. UNCHECK EVERYTHING ELSE, SPECIFICALLY RENUMBER.
By creating the package as defined above the package will ONLY contain the Object Catalog resources - On each Object Catalog resource scroll down on the RIGHT until you see SlotTypeSet
- Curtains will have a default value of 44D318CA4BD0A287
- Set this to zero and you're done

Thank you so much for that very clear tutorial! I'm not at all familiar with the Warehouse tab, so you've been a huge help. It worked perfectly, and I'm excited to sit down and "fix" all my curtains!
