I'm having a problem where my edits to a tuning mod doesnt reflect in the UI of the game. Other than not showing up in the UI it seems to be working. If I'm not mistaken it's the SimData file that define the UI, so I believe that is where my problem lies?
I'm trying to edit the tuning module/objects.collection_manager.
My steps are as follows:
1. Create empty package 2. Extract tuning, search for collection_manager, add to current package (without checking any of the boxes) 3. Added my custom collection to the CollectionIdentifier list at the bottom of the tuning file like this <T ev="83">MyCollection</T> 4. Add the collection to the COLLECTIONS_DEFINITION, I copy/pasted the positivityposters object and gave it my custom collection identifier and name 5. In the SimData file i did the same copy and pasting to COLLECTIONS_DEFINITION, but in the SimData format 6. Added my string tables, and saved the package.
When I dump the collectiondata from python my stuff is present and looks correct. The completed_award_notification for when the whole collection is completed works in game. The only thing that doesn't work is the UI part.
What am I missing?
