Hi. Not sure what exactly causes the crash but your mesh has a very strange topology. It also has too many uv maps, is affected by the wrong bone, has no proper uv_1 and uv islands are overlapping. - in Edit mode select everything with A, press Ctrl T to triangulate it; - delete uv_3 and uv_4; - make head_2 selectable, transfer uvs to uv_1 from it; " - delete all vertex groups, create b__Head__, assign the whole mesh to it; - in uv_0 put uvs in the space meant for hair

Did you triangulate the mesh? It works fine for meThe mesh does morph a lot with the sliders as the hair should, if you want to disable morphing, just vertex paint it with black
