In Blender, select the mesh with the cut out to resize, go into edit mode. Select 'Edge Select' mode and select the edge of the cutout. Then scale (hotkey 's') the cutout on the x & y axis, while constraining it to the z axis (hotkey 'shift-z'). Move the scale to fit the basin and hit the enter key. I hope this helps!

Is your "cutout" (meaning, the countertop with the hole in it) a separate object? You can't change the cutout because it's not part of the .package file with the basin and faucet. When you took the first screen shot of the basin sitting in the hole in the counter, where the objects in separate files? I don't understand *where* your counter cutout piece/object is?

Hello, I was wondering whether you managed to solve this issue? Could you please explain. I am trying to create the cut-out for my sink, followed all the instructions from the thread but nothing works. So I thought if there is place that you can resize it I can work backwards and see if there is another way of doing it. Thank you!
