Hi all! I'm new to the game in general but I took 3D modelling courses in college (for video game design and animation) so I figured I'd try my hand in a simple recolour to see if I was any good. I'm able to colour things fine and working with the programs isn't too hard but I'm not knowledgeable enough to search the terms I need in order to find a tutorial for what I'm trying to fix. I'm editing this lovely CC I downloaded over here and I'd like to make it two-toned. I've managed to do so partly, but I realize the texture they used on the majority of the hair is also the texture on the bangs- I'd like the bangs to remain a solid colour while the main area of the hair be two-toned. What program (blender, milkshape, s4s, photoshop) would I be editing that in if it's at all possible? I can upload more info if needed- just let me know. (Also no, this isn't the final product- just a lazy recolour to see where I needed the colour to be placed- so the outlines of blonde that are showing won't be there when I'm finished!) Thank you so so SO much in advance for helping a newcomer! (: Below: uv map, what I'd like the hair to look like(ish), and what it is currently rendering as.

Hi. You need to select those uv islands on the bangs and move them to the part of the texture that is not brown
