Hello!
I downloaded S4S somewhere around a week ago in order to make some specific CC for my character: a forehead tattoo, a back tattoo and a pair of earrings. I have no experience with S4S (currently version 3.1.4.5 (Wishes)), Blender (version 2.76) or GIMP (I use Photoshop CS3 and the Nvidia Texture Tools Exporter didn't work so I resorted to learning how to use GIMP), so everything is pretty new and, not going to lie, a little overwhelming, but fun.
The forehead tattoo worked, despite it looking wonky in S4S, in-game, it looks pretty nice:
S4S Forehead Tattoo
In-game Forehead Tattoo
The back tattoo was easier to do and place:
S4S Back Tattoo
In-game Back Tattoo
Now, my problem is the earrings, which look like this:
Earrings
I followed the tutorials here (sims4studio.com/thread/164/start-finish-accessory-mesh-beginners & sims4studio.com/thread/258/start-finish-accessory-mesh-beginners) as much as I could and I came up with this:
S4S Earrings
They look great for me (well, I'd like to make them shiny and more like in the anime, but I haven't figured it all out yet, so I'd appreciate a bit of help), but I have the following problem in-game when testing them:
In-game Earrings 1
In-game Earrings 2
In-game Earrings 3
In-game Earrings 4
In-game Earrings 5
Also, I have no LOD1, 2 or 3 for the earrings (they didn't work even if I followed the tutorial, which is another reason why I'm finally posting here).

There are 2 files because, as I named them, the first one has no gloss or shine or whatever, while for the second one, I tried following someone's tutorial, but it didn't seem to work in the end (I'll still try though).
This is literally the last thing on my to-do list for this character and it's the one where I actually have a problem
So, the problems would be:
- either having to make the earrings again, but I'd need some guidance because I honestly just made them on a whim and I'm not sure how to follow the tutorials above in this case since they're so specific
- if they are okay, how do I make them be positioned correctly in-game?
- adding some shine/gloss to them (the grey part would be metal/silver and the green one would be opaque glass) to make them seem more realistic?
I'd really appreciate any sort of help (preferably with pictures because I tend to get stuck easily and I wouldn't want to bother anyone more than necessary) and I hope I explained everything well.
Thank you and have a great day/night!
