Recently when I've made items this keeps happening: The weights work fine, it's just that this gray part appears for some reason. When I hold over the arm the gray part lights up, but it isn't affected by the arm sliders at all. So I'm a bit curious as to why this might happen? I've done the vertex painting, the weights, uv_1 transfers. Sim moves around fine, shirts seem to have no issue, other than this little odd thing happening so I'm a bit curious!

Hi. If the mesh does not morph at all, it’s vertex paint. Make sure the mesh is vertex painted with 00ff00. What happens at the side of the sim seems like the result of stretched uvs in the uv_1. Do not transfer uvs from the mesh with removed doubles. Anyway, please always share the package and the blend you imported in it

The problem was actually solved by that. I had accidentally managed to repeatedly do a data transfer from a mesh with removed doubles, my goodness. Thank you SO much for pointing that out, I don't think I would ever have caught it. Thank you!
