I am trying to edit out the sweater underneath the coat in the attached CC, and I successfully did it in blender (via box select on UV map and deleting vertices) but when I try to import it back into S4S, the edits don't show. I've attached a picture of my edits to the mesh in blender, the original mesh in blender, and what it looks like before and after I try to import the edited file back into S4S. Help would be greatly appreciated! Package download link

Hi. S4s does not support Blender 2.8+. You need a supported version of the software (2.76) to serve as a bridge. - download 2.76, change Blender path in s4s to it, close both s4s and blender if they were opened. This action will put the s4s plugin in the right directory; - open the package again, export the original garment, open it in 2.76, append the edited version from the blend you made initially, assign a type and a cut number, save

It's still now working, my blender path is now C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe but even when I try importing the appended version from 2.76 it still shows the original mesh in S4S. When I tried making all new edits and files, it just turned black and still wouldn't import. (side note, there is also now a weird hole in the back of the mesh that wasn't there in 2.92? How to prevent this from happening when I append my edited version? i attached a picture of it below)

Can we have the package and blend file?

In 2,92 the backface culling is disabled, so the hole did not appear. You need to select the faces there and flip them ( Mesh - Normals - Flip normals ). You need to add a type and a cut number for s4s to recognize this 3d model and import it. Should be 0000 in your case

Thanks for the help with the random hole, I fixed that!
I assigned the cut number as 0000, but there's no other types besides GEOM and NONE, do I have to create one or just put none?
Sorry, this is my first ever mesh edit and I'm trying to figure it out the best I can but it's a little difficult.

You should put geom. You can re-export the original mesh from s4s to see how many meshgroups, what types and cut numbers yours should have

There is only one mesh group total, the sweater and coat were one piece. I tried assigning the cut number 0000 and GEOM, then importing it to S4S, but it still shows the original mesh.

Use 2.76. If it won't work, share the blend and the package files please

Here's the files, I tried editing only using 2.76 and it still won't import. It's not giving me an error message, it just looks exactly the same as it was before I edited it. download link

You shared the unedited bend, I need the edited one that won't import
Also, how did you create that package? Did you click on Create CAS standalone?

I need a blend file you made in 2.76. The one that you cannot import in s4s. You shared the one you made in 2.92

There is nothing wrong with the file and I had no problem importing it in s4s. Clone a lingerie set and import it there. If you want it to be an accessory, delete the neck and hands first, though.
