i try not to post new threads but i've looked high and low and only found one tutorial on this...and it was a video that got deleted. is it even possible, and what do i need to do? does it involve mesh editing or just texture editing? is there anyone who can give me an explanation or a tutorial on what needs to be done?
i'm a beginner, but i've started working on some textures. i did look at the tutorial for creating alpha hair that's linked, but it uses autodesk 3ds and i only have blender.
it's okay if it's something i need to be on a more advanced level to do, but i still want to know how to do it regardless so i can save it for at some other point. i just can't find anything on how to do it. there's so many for clayifying hair but none for going clay to alpha.
