I've been watching videos and reading everything I can on 3D modeling, and maybe I've come across the answer already and have just forgotten, but I can't find an answer by Googling.
When you export a mesh from Marvelous Designer, you are supposed to export as thin, which I assume means the mesh is one sided. But, if you export as thick, does that mean it's double-sided? Does exporting as thick do to a mesh what the solidify modifier in Blender does?

Double-sided with the filled rim. Basically, solidify modifier as you guessed. I would suggest against exporting with these settings since you would need to weight, uv map and most likely adjust the topology in an imported mesh.

Yes, also the rim tends to be very high-poly. And obviously you do not need inner geometry everywhere.

Thanks, Feyona and Mauvemorn! I haven't had time to do any experimentation on my own when I have a question--my daughter is getting married soon and life has been CRAZY busy--so, I thought I'd ask instead. Sometimes, it's just quicker that way. :D
