So...I did publish this mod in a bit worse state than it is now. I made sure to resize the head so it fits the original one, so that the eyes move correctly but now the eyelids cause me trouble. They were fine before I resized the head but now they just won't fully close. Either only the edge of the upper eyelid moves towards the lower one or the upper eyelid itself just goes slightly to the middle and not further. I need a solution that doesn't end up having to move the eyelids down so that the eyes get covered. I already tried resizing as well but no luck. I'm not using transferred weights here. I renamed vertex groups that came with the model I used to the Sims 4-Standard, so weights are accurate. In case someone wants to take a closer look and attempt to fix this, here is the fileThanks in advance!

Hi. The mesh is not affected by b__L_UpLid__ and b__R_UpLid__ where it should be. Those are the vertex groups that you need

But I already got those vertex groups present. Or do you mean that these are not used by the item I cloned to make this happen? I used Leia's Hair for this.

Vertex groups need to affect the mesh in the right places. Those upper eyelid vertex groups should affect eyelids the same way calf vertex groups affect calves or foot vertex groups affect foot. You cannot just transfer weights from a random 3d model that is of a completely different shape and expect it to work, that’s not how rigging works.
Because of a very different shape the mesh has to be weight painted manually

And if I transfer the weights from the face of the sims rig? Will that work?

And if I transfer the weights from the face of the sims rig? Will that work? No. The eyes on your mesh are not where the eyes on the default head are. Same goes for literally any other feature.
