hi im new to making cc and im using marvellous designer to create the mesh and its fine but then when i get into blender everything starts to go wrong! anyway i got stressed out with blender so i decided to stick to just making the meshes on md for the next couple days and get better but i was wondering if id be able to not just make the mesh but like add the textures and colours and like decorate the mesh in md aswell or will that not work thankyou

Hi. You can but it would be pointless in the context of adaptation to ts4. If you plan on adapting the garment to ts4, you will have to resize and reposition the uvs. So if you exported textures from MD, you’d have to re-bake them which will lead to the loss of quality.
Fabrics can be applied in Blender, too, and baked to texture. This will be covered in the material related tutorials
For the future, if you have some general questions that are not ts4 specific, please either google them or direct them to MD forums. People competent enough on the subject to make tutorials or moderate forums will provide you with a better answer than we will. This forum is for s4s and the process of adapting cc to ts4, so that’s what we here are competent in.
