Hi, I have a vertex painting issue, I think. The clothes don't really change shape with the body, only the neck and hands do, and it looks really weird. I have painted my vertices pure green as instructed by tutorials, yet it doesn't appear to change anything. All the weights look fine to me though. Here is my .package file in case anyone can find out something wrong in it just from looking at it. Thank you for your patience and help!

It's the UV_1 that controls the mesh's morphing with the sliders. Vertex paint is a way to refine the action of the sliders, this is why skirts are always painted a different color than skin-tight clothing. Skirts are not skin-tight so they would not morph the same way the body would. I hope that makes sense. Edit: Yeah, your UV_1 doesn't look right at all. Before you transferred the UV_1 from an EA mesh to yours, did you make sure your mesh had a uv_0 and a uv_1 listed? This is case-sensitive, by the way. Otherwise, you'll end up with four maps. Ask me how I know that.

I transferred the UV_1 over from my reference mesh and it worked, thank you so much!

You are welcome. By the way, I love the underwear. Anything historical is right up my alley.

Thank you, Fwecka! Yeah, I'm working on some Wild West inspired clothing that I'll collect into a set and then upload, if it turns out well enough.
