Hand Rig/Poses problem with pre-existing poses

So as the title says, for a long time now I have had this problem with poses involving accessories where the the pose flat out isnt working with the prop, the prop/accessory looks like the rig is borked but every time I check it in blender it looks totally fine. Its not my props/poses that is doing this but basically most poses that havent been made very recently. Was there some sorta change to accessory rigs that prevents the proper pose from past accessory poses? For example I got an axe pose, in blender the position right, in the preview pictures provided by the creator is normal but when I am in game the axe will not position correctly, its as if its attached to the wrong point when its absolutely not. Eventually I got it to work but it seems I have to redo every accessory for every pose and that doesnt sound right...Anyone know what gives with this issue?
