Hi guys,
Looking to create a mod with more realistic house prices (at least based on the location I'm living in - which has of course, pretty high house prices).
In doing that just want to be able to adjust lot prices to be about 100x their value (just the pure land lot value - so if an empty lot is $1,500 - it will instead cost $150k).
Can anyone point me in the right direction of doing that? Is there a XML which has a multiplier value or the individual lot prices for each region? Is it something else that I need to do? Did someone already do it and I just couldn't find it?
Thanks for the help!

Far as I know the only way to do so is through the Lot Descriptions (or you could possibly script it). You can find the Lot Descriptions under Tools > Game File Cruiser, check the box and they will load. Unfortunately they are not labeled, but if all your doing is increasing the prices by 100x, then all you need to do is convert the values that you find. So once you have added the lot files to a package, the spot you are editing is called "SimoleonPrice" and it's in hexadecimal. You need to convert it back to decimal, then multiply the value it gives by the amount you wanted, then convert this number back into a hexadecimal and paste in the same spot. You can convert these numbers with the Hash Generator under Tools (same spot as Game File Cruiser). Paste where it says Hexadecimal, multiply the number that appears where it says Decimal and edit that number when done, the program will auto-update the Hexadecimal for you. Since some lots repeat their numbers I recommend making an Excel Sheet so you can just copy/paste anything you've already converted.

It worked perfectly Excel had a nifty function to turn Hex to Dex (and vice versa) so that helped a lot. And to think I gave up hope so quickly...!
