So I wanted to convert a male dress (fullbody) into a top while shortening said dress as well (I only mean shorten and not turn it into a shirt). I've followed several tutorials online on how to do these things separately but when I've tried it in Sims 4 Studio it ended up with the torso on the grid, the legs upright, and with the head floating. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong... please help??? help me pls
I've also included the link here and here. Just in case

The problem is caused by the fact that, instead of joining two mesh with Ctrl J, you parented one to another. Before s4studio_mesh_1.001 there is a small + icon, click on it to see s4studio_mesh_1. Select s4studio_mesh_1, Shift-select s4studio_mesh_1.001, press Ctrl J in 3d view. Also, delete rig.001, you do not need a second rig in the blend
