I finally figured out what was wrong... So after I click on face corner data I click on UV's but then nothing. It just says ALL LAYERS when there should be uv_0 and uv_1 same with the By Name It says By Name or By Order. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me? You need to join all the mesh groups of your EA reference mesh (shift-select, Ctrl + J), select your custom mesh, enter the data tab--its icon is an upside-down triangle--rename UVMap to uv_0. This is case-sensitive. Press the button with the plus sign to duplicate this mesh. Rename the new mesh uv_1. Again, it's case-sensitive. You have to have a uv_0 and a uv_1 listed in the UV Maps section. Select your custom mesh and add a Data Transfer modifier. Under Source Object choose the EA mesh. Checkmark Face Corner Data. In the dropdown menu choose Nearest Face Interpolated. Under All Layers and By Name choose uv_1. Click the UVs button. Click Apply. Use the joined EA mesh to transfer the weights, as well. Then delete the mesh and re-append it (File > Append > select file > Object > shift-select mesh groups > Append from Library). Delete the extra rig and bone_bone_shape if those end up appended.
