How to add a rotating animation to Light?
I made a disco ball and I wanted it to rotate like the laser machine on the left. I wanted it to be both a lamp, with spotlights and patterns, but also rotating.
It was difficult to find a solution and a proper turning. Or could you animate the lights?
What kind of god would do this? Teach me. thank you

What did you clone? And I don't know if this will help but you can look at the links in this thread. In one of the links, Brujah mentions using the pinwheel shader. As for adding a light, take a look here and here. Perhaps these links will help.

Here are some more links to look at. Check sims4studio.com/user/2905/recent. He's also got a video about animation. I don't know if they'll help for sure but there might be some useful information. Bakiegaming's animated wallpaper tutorial. In this thread there's a discussion about a scrolling light shader. Here is a discussion on altering animation speed.

The pinwheel shader is your best bet if you want it to rotate with very little work and all the time. If you want to turn the rotation on/off though, this tutorial will cover exactly what you need.
