When I go through ny CC, to see what I don't use to delete it, the program crashes/shut down, when I click on certain CC. I have tried several times to open again and click on the exact CC, and the same thing keep happening. I have over 15.000 CC and mods, and some is very old and not working. So I read about S4S and thought it could help me se what I have and then delete. But why does some CC make the program crash/shut down? Thanks!

Oh, that’s a lot. I doubt that this is the problem with anything other than that Make sure that your game and documents paths look like this, just in case: If s4s will still crash, then you will probably have to do things in sections. Do it like this: - open mods folder (not in s4s, just normally); - then in another window open it again so that you have two of them next to each other; - in one window create a new folder and name it 1; - in the next window minimise the icon and select around 500 of them ( do not count them obviously, the number of selected items should be shown somewhere on the window); - then drag them from one window to another, straight in the folder 1; -do this until all 15k of them are sorted. Maybe this way it will not crash

Thank you! I now go through 50-100 cc at a time now. But every time I start it up, it tells me this: "Unable to find The Sims 4. Please configure your game path.". I play on a macbook and use Origin. Does that have an impact om how to configure the game path?

I can't seem to figure out how to insert a photo. But my path is like this: Macintosh HD > Applications > The Sims 4.app

Your game path must lead to the location(the folder, not the .app )where the game is installed. This is where the game’s icon is. On windows you can right-click on the icon, choose Properties and there will be the path to the location where the game is installed. There should be something like this on Mac as well You can also check in Origin where it installed the game.

Origin tells me it is located en applications. When I try to change the path in the pop up-window, it says keeps telling me that there was an error. I even tried changing it to the folder, where all my mods and other folders is, but same message about error comes. I can't change the path.

delete s4s from your computer and s4s from the documents folder ( the same place where Electronic arts folder is) When you will install it again, s4s will ask you to navigate to the place where the game is installed.
