I know this is the wrong place for this, but perhaps some kind soul will help me? *begs on knees* I'm getting this error when I try to load Mod Constructor V4: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Users\[REAL_NAME_REDACTED]\Downloads\Mod Constructor V4\Content\StandardContent.dll' or one of its dependencies. Operation is not supported. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131515) An attempt was made to load an assembly from a network location which would have caused the assembly to be sandboxed in previous versions of the .NET Framework. This release of the .NET Framework does not enable CAS policy by default, so this load may be dangerous. If this load is not intended to sandbox the assembly, please enable the loadFromRemoteSources switch. See go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=155569 for more information. I went to the link, and the Microsoft page said the loadFromRemoteSources switch needs to be set to true and that it can probably be found in the application configuration file, but I have no idea where to find that or how to open it in order to change the switch. Plus, the Microsoft page the link took me to is quite possibly obsolete. But I can't be sure about this. I'm not an experienced modder, and I only have beginner experience with the Python and C# programming languages. Any thoughts? I would really like to create a custom trait, but I can't do it with this roadblock. I really hope I won't have to do something like get a new laptop just to make this work. ^.^"

I found this. When I right-clicked on StandardContent.dll, chose properties and looked at what's in the general tab, I did not see an "unblock" option. However, if "hidden" and/or "read only" are checked you can try unchecking them. If there is no unblock button, this may help. Same thing here but with screenshots. And another. Edit: Unblocking the application should be the first thing to try given that the problem is related to permissions. I found this, as well. I think its the construct.exe config file you need to alter. I'm not very knowledgeable about these things either but the Microsoft link discusses Net Framework. Is your Net framework out of date? Could it be that the Mod Constructor requires an earlier version of Net Framework and you don't have it? After reading through the site, and again, I'm not knowledgeable about these things, but I think it's saying that it's a permissions thing.
It appears that you would need to open StandardContent.dll in Visual Studio and change its attributes. Specifically, loadFromRemoteSources. I could be wrong, of course. You would need Visual Studio, I'm pretty sure of that.
