I'm very confused on how to do this, an example would be some CC ears that are mapped to the Sim's skin area so when the Sim's skin color changes, so do the ears.
Currently, I've found a CC tail by another creator that I'd like to map the textures to match skin and hair colors, but I can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi. You can put the uvs of the tail that are meant to match the skin on the face or the neck area of the uv map (not a forehead(shadow from the hair), cheeks (blush), jawline and chin (facial hair), nose maybe ). As for the hair part of the tail, you could try eyebrows, but it will be of poor quality. You cannot put it in the hair area because the hair uvs are always differently arranged
