Hello. I'm having an issue with a dress CC. When selecting the dress in CAS, it looks like some bits are missing around the hand/wrist area of the sim model. I'm assuming it has something to do with the mesh, right? Here's what the glitch looks like: The weird thing is it doesn't show up in S4S: I also couldn't find anything in Blender that would be causing that. Any ideas? Here's a link to grab the mesh blender file for anyone that would kindly like to take a look: uploadir.com/u/9qzulycw And here is the .package file of the dress cc as well: uploadir.com/u/ikpqzw2mAny help would be greatly appreciated!

There are a few things to note but I don't if any of them will fix your issue. They need to be addressed, regardless. 1. You've made your mesh double-sided throughout the entire thing. This adds unnecessary polygons and a higher poly mesh can cause game lag. You should delete anything that won't be seen and close the holes, then extrude new faces to fill the holes, unwrap, size the new islands very small and place them somewhere on your texture. 2. Your mesh is full of triangles and this is because of so many polygons that are not connected. You'll need to select those parts and press W > remove doubles. Here's an example of triangles that are not connected. You can see how awful that mesh looks with this. 3. Your dress is not vertex painted correctly. It has a skirt so should be vertex painted the way a skirt is. Look at the EA dress you cloned. You'll see the vertex paint is lighter on the skirt and the boobs. 4. The EA dress has four cut numbers while yours has just one. You need to separate your mesh the same way the EA dress has been separated and give your mesh the same cut numbers. If you need more specific instructions on how to fix this dress let me know and I'll walk you through it.

Hi. Your issue is caused by the fact that you deleted meshgroups in the package and replaced the wrong one with yours.
Some items are split into multiple meshgroups to tune each of them differently. Your item must be split the same way to replace corresponding parts of the original and inherit their tuning. You cloned yfBody_DressKneeBelt, a dress made of 4 meshgroups. The first meshgroup in the list was in the calf area. You replaced it with the whole body. The whole body must have many slots to interact with objects, have arms in the right position, and so on. The calf meshgroup does not contain that information.
Long story short, clone a lingerie set and import your blend there

Awesome, thanks for the info you two! Appreciate the help. Just want to say this was not my actual CC and give credit. It was made by asya96; I was using it as a base for me to teach myself how to navigate Blender and use S4S :D Thanks again!

For the future, never use custom content for educational purposes or as a reference. Even creators who have been making cc for years make mistakes, you do not want to pick them up. Use only maxis items
