What are these meshgroup for?

The ones in the arm area hide armbands. The one in the chest hides necklaces. The one in the neck is for chokers

if this meshgroup only to tell the game to hide something. SO basically, it doesn't need as big, right? Or even at the same position. I could create those groups on the pants, as long the number assigned is right, it will still able to hide the necklace, arm band, etc. Am I wrong?

No, they have to be affected by the same bones which is related to slotrayinteractions. To be affected by the same bones, they need to be roughly of the same size and in the same place
