Hi!! I'm desperately trying to figure out how to convert sims 4 animations into sims 2 and I can't even get past the most basic step. I have tried almost every tutorial, I have both Blender 2.70 and 2.76b downloaded onto my computer (not the zip) and still I get the same error when I try to add on the s4s tools. I have triple checked the path in s4s and followed all the tutorials here on this site and still I'm getting the same error. Please let me know what else I can do so I can start working

Hi. Could you please explain when exactly do you get an error? Could you also show us your paths and tell where sims 4 studio is installed

Just as a test, I went into Blender's AppData folder and removed the folder named "s4studio." Then I cloned an animation override and tried to export the .blend. I got an error message saying "No Module named s4studio." Go to C:\users\your name\AppData\roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\your Blender version\scripts\addons and see if there's a folder there named "s4studio." There should be 8 additional folders in there along with 4 .py files. One of the folders should be named "animation." If you don't have Blender installed on your C drive I'm not sure where that folder would end up, tbh. All I can say is you need that folder with all of its contents.

The folder will be created on the c drive regardless because that is where appdata is. There is no need to create anything yourself, the software do it themselves. When they don't, the only thing it means is that they cant. To know why they cant we need to know where they are installed and what the paths are
