Easy way to separate underwear / swimwear tops and bottoms?

Is there an easy way in S4S or does anyone know of a utility that will easily allow the separation of 2 piece underwear or swimwear tops and bottoms. I prefer the flexibility of separate pieces. I have tried wrapping my head around creating CC, but I seem to have a mental block and just cannot figure this out.  I did check the tutorials and there does not seem to be anything that covered this, if there is an appropriate tutorial please direct me towards it .
