Hey! So, I'm trying to recreate an anime character in Sims and I want to get this hair to come up for my male sim: www.thesimsresource.com/members/Nilyn/downloads/details/category/sims4-hair-hairstyles-female/title/luna-hair-new-mesh-patreon/id/1556011/I have no idea what to try outside of what I've done. So far, I have: - Run the batch fix to update all CC for all genders on the folder it's in - Manually changed all its flags (Male and Masculine checked, Restrict Opposite Gender & Frame unchecked) - Exported meshes and textures manually and imported onto a male base hair All of this hasn't worked for me, it still refuses to show up ingame. Does anyone have a guide for tricky hairstyles that just don't want to show up for the other gender? Am I doing something wrong / missing something?

Hi. Not sure what exactly is wrong with this hair package, but it does not show up for me as well. Try to open the package that you made out of this one (not by cloning but by restarting), remove Restrict opposite frame and gender tags, click on Apply to all swatches. Make sure Fashion Choice is set to Masculine and feminine, apply to all swatches. Do not change gender tags

Sorry to be a bit of a dummy, but what do you mean by restarting instead of cloning? I've been copying the package file and working off that through My Projects- I can't figure out how to open CC up through s4s any other way. Is that the issue you may be referring to?

To open and modify a custom package, you need to choose it from My projects in the main menu of s4s. To clone (create a stanalone duplicate) a maxis item, in the main menu you need to choose Create CAS Standalone or Create 3d mesh options and click on CAS, then choose the item, click Next, name it something. To clone a custom package, you need to copy-paste it in \My documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods, then close s4s if it was opened. Open s4s again, Create CAS Standalone/Create 3d mesh, filter content by Custom.
Copy-pasting the package the regular way creates an identical copy of it, with the same identifiers, so it will not be standalone.
