In advance: I'm not a modder, just a random guy
Well, I was dismayed that when replacing the thumbnail with my images via the Tray Importer and then uploading it to the Gallery, I got a CC MARK on my family, which is created WITHOUT MODS.
I never use mods when making characters, so my thumbnail's pictures were made in-game using C-shots. And no poses.
And I thought, is there any HACK to get around this?
For fun, I extracted the thumbnail of the family using the Tray Importer and pasted it back, replacing the file with itself.
AND, OF COURSE, when uploading to the Gallery, the family received the CC stamp. Funny joke!
Then I realized, somehow theSkynet Gallery reads that the tray file has been edited, and gives it a stigma.
HOWEVER, using custom poses, families are safely uploaded to the Gallery.
And then I thought, what if I make a pose in Blender, adding a THUMBNAIL to the scene as an OBJECT? Or somehow replace the sim with a WALL with a thumbnail's size? Or maybe replace some of the sim's clothes in scene with a plane with an thumbnail as texture? A kind of crutch.
I honestly don't know if it's REAL to do this.
OR how to shove your picture at the time of thumbnail's generation? How to trick the Gallery?
Or... maybe you can delete the .sgi .hhi files and replace them with new ones so that the game thinks they are the same files. But the picture will be completely different. However, you need to understand by what algorithm the game understands that the file has been modified. But, as I understand it, the game considers VALID only the thumbnails that was generated directly when saving the family.
Can anyone help me with this? Is it possible to check this? My thumbnails are not much different from Maxis's. I really want to upload a family that I have been working on for several months. And this... problem ruined all my plans.
Thank you very much for reading. I really hope for your help.
