Hello everyone, still me trying to make 3dimensional socksfor use with HD feet replacement. Since the mesh I made clips with several shoes and all heels, I'd like to know if, by using mesh cuts and warehouse settings, it would be possible to make it so that any shoe CAS item hides the bottom part, and that pants would hide the other cuts according to their length. I've been reading about geom cuts, sortlayers and flags and I am pretty confused on how to use them for this purpose : so far I've made the mesh cuts and assigned them numbers based on a tall boot mesh from the base game, and I'm not sure on how to proceed. I could always just bite the bullet and edit all the cas items that clip - but since it's quite a lot of work it would be great if I could avoid that

Hi. No, not possible. To hide an accessory with shoes through excludepartflags, the shoes must be tuned to do this, not the accessory. To hide something with regiontype, the shoes and the accessory would need to share the same region (which they already do) but have different layers. By default all shoes have layer 0. Your accessory would need to have a lower number to be hidden, which is not possible. Sort layer is a completely different thing. It dictates the order in which textures are layered.
The best solution in your case is to simply make default feet non-default and categorize them as shoes. When you need to put on socks, just put those maxis feet as well
