Hi I keep getting this error when trying to post on thesimsresource. Their message says:
I reached out to thesimsresource team and asked how that can be fixed because I don't have auto smooth turned on?
They replied saying:
and I also found a thread here with the same explanation sims4studio.com/post/166526/thread
So I did exactly that and resubmitted my mesh and ofcourse it got rejected with the same error message.

Your mesh has been edited while autosmooth was on. This is causing the hard lines you can see best at the neck/shoulder area, the sides of the legs and above the ankle. Clothing and shoe meshes should always be edited with autosmooth turned off. To fix this, it's needed to redo the mesh. Simply turning autosmooth off on the mesh you have already edited will unfortunately not work. You can submit your creation again after fixing the problem.

you have you to unselect your mesh(dress) and only body should be selected and go to vertices and do remove doubles
So I did exactly that and resubmitted my mesh and ofcourse it got rejected with the same error message.
