Hi! Recently I’ve been trying to create shoes with sliders. I read that those are just shoes that are under the floor line. However I’m still unsure how to do it, I’ve tried but it was not successful. Could someone help by indicating some shoes tutorial and how to make them with sliders?

Hi. As you said, its just shoes under the floor line. How to do them depends on where you are currently, what your feet looks like if they are visible at all, so please give an example first

Hi! So I’ve made the shoes already on maya and manually uv mapped it. I got a satin texture with nodes on blender 3.0, but I’m still unsure what textures I should bake. I’ve created four different light sources and placed around it like a diamond (front, back and sides), so the textures would be brighter. I baked the diffuse, shadows, normals and speculars. Overall, my question is when does the map with the zones, uv_0 and uv_1 comes into place, should I bake the texture before that or after? I’m lost in that whole part

You should watch a tutorial on accessory or shoe making or something like this to get the idea of the right order because that is not the right order. Also, this does not answer whether you have visible feet or not. Send a picture of the shoes please The order: 1). put the feet in the right position or use someone else's who allows it; 2). model the mesh so that it fits the feet(if they are meant to be visible); 3). uv unwrap, rig, transfer uv_1, vertex paint; 4). delete the area of the feet covered by shoes, join the feet with the shoes, re-arrange uvs in uv_0 in the space meant for shoes making sure they do not overlap with the feet's uvs; 5). assign the type and the cut, check how the mesh behaves in cas; 6). if everything is fine, split sharp edges; 7). bake a texture ( combined, not separately), using this as an environment. If you have a high-poly mesh, bake normals as well; 8). make the rest of the maps; 9). make lods; 10). make thumbnails
