Okay so, I am using blender 2.8 but the file path in s4s is 2.7. I say all this to say, I am no longer able to convert hairs anymore. I am trying to convert an adult cc hair to a child (which I have done before with blender 2.7). For some reason I get everything all converted over and the mesh won’t show in up in s4s. This has never happened before.

Ok thank you, so does that mean I have to uninstall blender 2.8 every time I wanna convert something?

No, you can have as many versions of blender as you want on one computer. Just follow the steps in the 4th reply

I totally figured that out AFTER re-reading the steps lol (I should’ve caught it earlier when I mentioned I had a 2.7 file path duhh ) I’m going through the steps now, I’ll let you know if it works!

Ok thank you, so does that mean I have to uninstall blender 2.8 every time I wanna convert something? Nope, I work with blender 2.9. But for converting Sims 4 items, you must use lower versions of Blender. As far as I know, other games do support higher blender versions  . |

So I get by, by appending the new meshes, deleting the old cuts an scaling the hairs down. I was changing the cuts and the hair didn’t move lol so I had to go the hard way. |

I just had to read better to understand exactly what the directions were saying. |
