Hi! I updated my Sims 4 studio and I have a file that i would like to un-merge. when I tried it says that "it was not merged with a version of Studio that supports un-merging". Is there anyway that I can un-merge this file? Thanks in advance

Take a look at the Warehouse tab. If there is no S4S Manifest resource it means that the file was was merged in another program and Studio won't be able to un-merge it.

inesnogcosta In the main menu choose My projects. Select it, then you will get a list of everything inside. At the very beginning there should be S 4 S Merged package manifest. If you do not have it, then you will not be able to unmerge it with s4s. For the future, do not merge files. The game updates often, the files break. People say that it does not really speed up the game. Just disable the pop-up window that list all mods when the game starts, this is said to speed up the loading process,

Scroll up to the very beginning of the list, and check if there is S 4 S Merged package manifest or type "manifest" in the search bar to the left and click on Filter

That means that sadly, s4studio will not be able to unmerge the file. It needs the S 4 S Merge package manifest file to know which files go together to be able to seperate them properly. Without it, it doesn't know what belongs together and what doesn't.

It means that the file was created in another program. Studio won't be able to unmerge it.

menaceman44 Feyona thank you so much for your replies. I will have to search in the game to see which ones I want to keep it and try to find the original file since I don't know other program that merge/unmerge sims stuff.
