Hi all! I took two sweaters from cottage living (one for sleeves and one for body) and meshed them together. For the life of me, I can't figure out why there's a hole in the right armpit of the sweater. I've tried moving the vertices around in a million different ways and nothing has closed it up. Hoping an extra set of eyes will help me figure out what i'm missing PicturesBlender filePackage file

Hi. -disable Limit selection to visible; -holding Ctrl, click and drag to shift select that area on the shoulder; - Remove doubles with Merge distance set to 0,0001 for once; - to check if the hole was removed, Select - Select boundary loop. If it will select nothing in the shoulder area, it was removed. If it will select edges, do the remove doubles thing again with higher number

Hi!! I did all you said and I thought it was working for a second because when I clicked "select boundary loop" it didn't show anything and on the yellow swatch of the cardigan it's hard to see. But it was still clearly visible on the other swatches so I went back in and it selected the spots when I clicked "select boundary loop" that time. So, I tried removing doubles again at 0.0005 and it didn't do anything so I tried 0.0010 (I wasn't sure how high to go) and it changed the rest of my mesh but didn't do anything about the whole. When I tried going to 0.0021 it created a new whole in between where the cardigan and the turtleneck meet on the chest area. Did I do it wrong or should I go back and do 0.0021 and figure out some other way to fix the new hole? Thanks mauvemorn!! You did not delete enough torso which is why the doubles are not being removed properly - download the first blend you shared, not the last one;
- switch shading to solid; - enable sync in the uv editor. Holding ctrl, select the same vertices as on the pic below; - in 3d view press Delete - Faces; - then you will see that the sleeve does not connect to the rest of the cardigan in some places because there is not enough vertices. Select the edge that is lacking a vertex, subdivide it; - select the created vertex, shift-select the other one, Alt M - At last; - do this in other places; - remove doubles in places where the sleeve connects with the torso
