My sim is complicated- his skin is a huge overlay over the whole body. But it's semi-transparent. That means that the skin detailing itself is from the skintone underneath, and the color and tone change depending on said skintone underneath.
Is there any way to export a skintone that has been modified with the slider, so that I can overlay these two things on each other in photoshop, and make them one single texture? So that my overlay no longer depends on the skin underneath, and I can more easily paint on top of it without having to account for the color underneath the transparency?
Edit: I found a solution if anyone else needs it. Using SimRipper you can just extract your sim's nude outfit as a full texture. This includes their skin, makeup, skin details, etc. So now I have my sim's actual in-game appearance as a single texture I can just paint on top of, and save as a custom skintone!!!
This will save me 3 or 4 skin detail slots!!!
