this is my first post and I've looked all over and can't find anything that works, but apologies if this has an answer somewhere. Fairy wings look transparent in S4S (they are transparent .pngs with no color but what would be the wings) but the transparent parts are turning black in game. The only fixes i see in the forum are for objects. I have tried so many different ways to make recolors these fairy wings (set as a right index ring) transparent. I want some recolors to be torn. I have tried exporting and reimporting the pngs (changed nothing), making the shaders simglass, phong alphas (both made the wings completely invisible in game) and even exported the mesh, made it transparent in blender, made a completely new file and imported everything all over again (did nothing). The transparent areas (even the edges of the full wings) are black. I am at a total loss! Here are the wings in S4S and then in game
I don't know why but im not able to add the images as an embed

Hi. For a part of an item to have transparency, it must: - have a texture with transparent background (if working with png); - have a Simglass shader assigned to it; - its uvs must be put away from the body parts’ uvs
We need to see the package file to know what is wrong exactly. My guess is that the Simglass shaded is not assigned the right way

I am using a mesh from another creator so I am not positive about the uvs I tried doing the simglass thing according to what I saw in other posts and it made the wings dissapear, so yeah I'm doing that wrong totally but I cant find out what. The tutorial for adding an attachment is not helping-there is no option to add anything-even adding an image isn't working for me.

This forum cannot host files, so you need to drop them on the hosting website and share the link with us. Mediafire does not require registration, so just drop your files there and click on copy link (instead of copying it from the search bar)

Hi. Apologies for the late response, had no access to pc. I've check the file in-game and did not encounter the same issue. 1). Do you have Laptop mode enabled in your graphics settings (that would affect alpha hair as well, so an unlikely culprit)? 2). Try these wings on the default sim with no cc. If the problem will not appear, some other cc is causing it; 3). Do you have any mods that affect the shading in the game? Like reshade?
