(https://imgur.com/a/yJRZM1D) I've been trying to figure out how to make the sleeves of my jacket fit the sims model without editing the vertices. Every time I edit the vertices of the sleeves to try and fit them onto the arms, the mesh becomes contorted. I've tried adding an armature to the jacket (I may be doing it wrong) but that doesn't seem to work either, as the mesh never joins/parents to the armature. Any help?

Hi. If the jacket comes with the armature, you should just change the pose and apply it. If the jacket is not rigged, then you will have to change the pose of the reference, transfer weights, then change the pose of the jacket to align with the body. This video covers this process but for a different situation. Start watching from 1:44. Watch it first without following to get the idea of the order and only then follow

Do you have a blender file with the rig and the body I can use? I've been trying to import my own but the body I import does not come with a rig, therefore I can't follow the video. (https://imgur.com/a/cDqAal8) there's no rig in my blend file as you can see here (https://imgur.com/a/aCRmsu3) the rig with body I need

See rig? See the eye icon next to it? You need to enable it next to rig

Now that the jacket is tied to the rig, do i delete the rig and export the jacket as an object? or can i data transfer, uv, weight paint as usual to transfer it into the game?

No, you need to align the rig with the default ts4 pose. After that you need to apply the armature modifier. Then you can save the file and append the jacket in a different blend with the untouched rig

Seems like what you’re saying is to align the rig with the pose of the sim, which I think I did, and then append the jacket into another file to then uv, weight, etc.

1). Jacket’s arms are too high 2). You make the reference’s arms higher to match them by changing the pose of the rig; 3). You apply armature so that the reference’s pose is changed permanently; 4). You transfer weights from the ref to the jacket; 5). Now you need to lower the arms of the jacket. First you change the pose of the rig permanently; 6). You change the pose and apply the armature; 7). You clone something, export blend, append the jacket there, do the other steps.

Ah, okay, I think I'm on step 7 then (https://imgur.com/a/DrgCaSu) Can you elaborate on step 7? What do you mean by clone something? I know how to append but the clone something and export blend part is where I'm stuck.

Appended the jacket into another blend file to continue the rest of the steps, However I joined the jacket and the nude mesh together and the hands go into another position (https://imgur.com/a/np82WMQ) This seems to be my only problem now, will this affect how it works in the game, or is there somehow I can fix this issue?

“Cloning” is when you do CAS - create standalone/create 3d mesh.
You need to reset the rig, change its rest pose permanently

Is there a video on that part? I think what you’re saying is to reset the rig pose back to how the sim pose was originally, I think I’m stuck on how to do that.
