I have a package that is producing emotional reactions but not corresponding moodlets; can anyone help me figure out why?
I would attach the package for people to look at (as I have seen requested in other threads) but I can't figure out how to do THAT, either, I'm afraid.

Are you saying the moodlets aren't appearing where they normally go? That means you have the visible setting set to False, so change it to True.

i changed the tuning from one emotion to another (Scared). The Sim does get Scared, but doesn't show any scared moodlets and I'm trying to find out how to ask it to.
As for the 'visible' setting, that seems unlikely since I certainly didn't change it intentionally. I'll check, if you can tell me where it might be.

Did you change the mood_type in the SimData as well? SimDatas have to match the tuning, otherwise they will not show correctly in the UI and can badly bug your game.
Visible is in the buff tuning. If you don't see one listed, then it's already set to True by default.

Hm; it doesn't HAVE SimData at all. The original I'm basing it on didn't. From what you're saying it sounds like that's a problem. I'm going to trying to build it again, extract all the tuning the original one must have been relying on being the game, and then look and changing the tuning and the SimData tabs and see what happens with that (though I'm not sure I know how to change the SimData appropriately).

Oof, yeah that would be the cause then. I'm not sure what buff you're basing it on but ALL buffs must have a SimData, it's a requirement for them to function. This tutorial here covers making buffs, and this tutorial here goes over generalized cloning as the one in the other tutorial is not necessary/a bit lengthy.
