So I edited some custom male nails to make them a bit bigger/longer. I just edited the 5 left hand nails and deleted the nails on the right hand, because my plan was to just copie the edited left hand nails to the right side to save some work time. To do so I used the "Add Modifier" option (as explained in a Blender video 2.7) and selected "Mirror" to mirror the nails to the right hand which worked just fine. I clicked "Apply" and saved. Back in Studio I imported the edited mesh and all looks fine. Nails are there on both side hands as showing in the picture.
However, In game (CAS), the right hand nails are not on the Sim fingers and float way above. Can someone tell me what I forgot to do/click?
Thanks in advance.

Hi. The right side of the body must move and morph independently from the left side, so when you mirror something, you must also re-do rigging and uv_1. Using mirror modifiers is not a good idea because it does not change vertex groups' names to the opposite (it can but not with how maxis vertex groups are named). It flips uvs off center as well. So you do it like this: - delete the nails on the right side of the body; - Remove unused vertex group from the mesh with this addon ( enter 0 and click on purchase, in Blender go to File - user preference, switch to addons, choose install from file, choose this file); - in object mode select the mesh and press Shift D, then Esc to duplicate; - select the duplicate, in Edit mode select everything with A, change Pivor to Cursor, make sure the cursor is at the center ( Mesh - Snap - Cursor to center), Mesh - Mirror - X global; - with everything selected in 3d view, Mesh - Normals - Flip normals;
- rename every vertex group from the left to the right, so from b__L_Thumb0__ to b__R_Thumb0__; - select uv_1, in Uv editor change Pivot to 2d cursor. Select everything. The cursor should be at 0,0 coordinates by default, if you did not move it, UVs - mirror - x axis; - in object mode select the duplicate, shift- select the original, (in this order!!) join with Ctrl J.
