Hello,
I am making a bunch of toddler dress recolors and some of them have different button styles. I am able to import a new diffuse, swatch and thumb for each recolor but the normal containing the new button shape overrides the normal for every recolor in that dress.
Do I need to make a new mesh for each button style or can the ability to add a new normal for each recolor option be a future s4s request?

Hi. The CAS package can have only one normal map. However, there is a way of making it have two, but I don’t know how safe it is. So you import the diffuse, shadow, specular, normal maps with specific buttons. Save the package, then Save as it under a different name. Open that new package, replace the normal map and the diffuse. Now you can add more diffuse maps to both of them. This results in two packages that have the same identifiers, meaning they appear as one item in CAS. You can merge these package into one.

Ooo Thank you! ... I get how to make the different packages with the same identifiers but how do I merge them afterwards? (sorry for being ignorant - this technique is new to me) thank you for your help. :D
