Hiya! I downloaded one of s4simomo old hairs which has this mesh or possible texture issue. Any ideas how I can possibly fix this? It's on one side only. I'm rather new to modding in general, any help is deeply appreciated!
Very visible in sims4studio
In game (CAS) it's more flickering, like two meshes being on the same plane.

Hi. Did you edit it yourself? If not, the creator must have flipped the mesh without flipping the uvs of the hairline. Share the link to the file please.

Yeah, if you will open its uv_0 map, you'll see that both sides of the hairline are projecting textures of only the left side of the body. You can fix this by selecting the uvs of the hairline, deselecting the left side of it in 3d view, then flipping the uvs, and moving them. However, you will have to re-do this step on every meshgroup and on every diffuse map, all 51 of them (or you can re-do only the one you want to use for your sim) - in uv editor enable sync, press B, click and drag to select the uvs of the hairline; - in 3d view disable Limit selection to visible, switch to Vertex select, press B, deselect the left side of the hairline; - in uv editor switch to Face select, mirror the uv island; - zoom closer to the area where the white arrow is pointing to, press G X, move the uv island until it aligns with that of the left side; - do this for the other two meshgroups; - you can skip doing this on lods because you wont see this issue from afar; - do the same things on textures in the image editing software of your choice;

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Honestly, such a helpful walk through! My problem is solved and my understanding of blender has severely improved! (I've only played around in maya before so blender is rather confusing to get used to for me at the moment) You're truly a life saver!
