i took a while guessing where would color the tail only and it ended up looking like this i couldn't get that patch of color off her face no matter what i did usually i can recolor things myself but it didn't have a texture someone else asked the same thing but it had no replies: sims4studio.com/thread/10830/request-give-tail-color

Hi Breezy, you only moved the texture, you haven't moved the UV of the tail to that section.
Open blender back up, select your tail, select the uv and move it up!
If you need help moving the uv use this x
