The hair ( not bald) blend has only one meshgroup? What is the number in the Cut field? Nothing?

I tried it with a few different male short haircuts, including a buzzcut, and they're not actually rendering right in Blender - I can't see the hair and the dummy sim looks bald. There's only the one mesh group and no cuts, the cut field is 0000.
I also just tried exporting the mesh for the Bella Goth style basegame hair, and that's working fine for some reason - I can see all the mesh groups. The cuts are 0000, 0001, 0002 if that's relevant.

Very short hair is either texture based or is made of one meshgroup because it does not clip into hats.
If long hair is made of multiple meshgroups, everything works now.
