I'm trying to remove the headband from the short hair in the Wedding pack because it's perfect for my Sim self. Any advice??

Hi. You should start from watching any hair mesh editing tutorial because this process is not as straightforward as beginners tend to assume. You need to delete the headband, then close the hole and re-shape the hair in that area. Then you may need to edit the hair texture to remove the shadow the headband was casting on the hair. - clone the hair in the shade that you need, export the blend from lod0; - open lod0 blend, RMB-click at the top of the hair to select the base shape (worn without hats), hide two other meshgroups in the outliner (hatchops) by clicking on the eye icon next to them; - switch to edit mode (tab), select everything with A, Mesh - Faces - Tris to Quads; - with everything still selected, Remove doubles with Merge distance set to 0,0001; - UVs - Seams from islands; - in UV editor enable sync and choose Face select. Select everything and assign the diffuse texture; - Deselect everything. Press B, click-and-drag to select the uvs of the headband only. In 3d view press Delete, choose Faces; - Start merging vertices that are opposite to each other in a way that more-or-less makes sense. Use Alt M - Center or Last to do that. Then Select unnecessary edges and Delete - Dissolve edges to remove them. Use G to move vertices so that they form strands -after you close the hole, reshape the depression where the headband was like this: enable proportional editing, select a vertex, then press G. The radius will be very big at first, you need to scroll the mouse wheel until you can see it, then move; - after you're done, make hidden hatchops visible and save the file. Import it back in s4s; - inspect that area if you need to edit the diffuse
