Need help with assigning an teen treat to a child.

So I installed The Sims 4 Studios and I am excited to begin creating my own custom content but for now, I am simply learning the basics. So here's the deal: I installed a middle school mod which enables teenagers to attend middle school with a middle school trait. However, how it works is a child turns into a teenager and they're automatically given the middle school trait and enrolled in middle school. However, as I try to revert them back to as children, they still have the middle school trait but they don't go to middle school and when I load the game again, it'll say they don't go to school. Is there a code I have to insert to help remedy this?

However, I feel like teenagers look too old to be in middle school. EA really took a heavy blow for not adding an age in between children and teens. It's like watching an 8-year-old become a 16-year-old in real-life. I am aware there is a pre-teen mod which I tried and I have to say, it's actually impressive but I only want a middle school mod because teenagers already look like high school juniors and seniors.
