Hi I'm trying to add multiple versions of a same accessory in CAS. I've managed once to add a duplicated version of a hat cc but the cc didn't fully import. Does anyone know how I can multiple of the same cc to either the same or a different category?

Hi. - find the original package in your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods, right click on it and choose copy; - go into \Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods, paste the file there; - close s4s if it was opened; - open s4s again; - in the main menu of s4s, under CAS button, choose Create CAS Standalone or Create 3D mesh; - filter Content by Custom; - select the custom package, save it in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder; - change the category. If needed, change the uvs and textures

Thank you. Also, would the multiple cc still show up in-game if it is in a merged file on another computer if the original cc isn't in the sims 4 studio mods folder?

Multiple cc merged together will show up as standalone items (unless they are made the wrong way, with Save as ). If the original cc is not in the \the sims 4\mods folder, the game will not be able to use the referenced files and will display a checkered pattern instead. You would need to embed the resources with Tools - Modding -Embed externally referenced resources if allowed to do that.

The white and checkered pattern just happened to some of the cc's but the other cc worked fine

If you will replace or embed all referenced resources, the pattern will not appear. The pattern will also not appear if the resources are present in other files in the game/mods folder

How would I fix this?

You would need to embed the resources with Tools - Modding -Embed externally referenced resources if allowed to do that. The original package must be in \sims 4 studio\mods folder for this to work

Okay, so that fixed it and it shows the multiple thumbnails but it only shows one of the accessories at a time instead of all three are selected.

Did you clone each accessory individually (with Clone 3d mesh/Create CAS standalone)? Or did you copy them with copy-paste or Save as?

Yes, I did do that. But I checked in s4 studios and it turned out that when I made the 2nd and 3rd versions it copied over the mesh and texture from the first version so I added the correct mesh and texture which seemed to have worked.
