So before I start I should clarify that I'm completely new to creating CC and the Sims 4 in general.
I've always been into design and such things, so I figured that learning how to design for custom content would be fun. I decided to start smaller than actual 3d creations because I don't think I'm ready for that yet (I'm still stuck on the god damn donut). So makeup was my go to. So I watched a couple tutorials and I thought I was doing it right, but apparently not because when I imported the makeup into the game, it made whatever character I had like ultra white, like straight up, they were glowing from how much whiteness there was.
Now I THINK (?) where I went wrong was importing the image with the skin base I was using, I'm thinking right now is that maybe I should've removed the skin layer and just imported the makeup layers so it could adjust to any skin tone?
Again, I'm not really sure if that's the solution, so I figure I'll just ask and see if anyone has any idea on where it went wrong and how to fix it. Any advice is appreciated!

Yes, your texture needs to be just the makeup, no bases or skins of any type. Also can you provide a screenshot of the issue and the .package file?
