Hi. I've finished designing a full body romper for toddler, but on what do i import it in sims 4 studio? Like, there is nothing skin tight for toddlers, right? All swimsuits and such have ruffles, etc. What do you guys import your full body meshes on?

Hi. The shape of the garment matters only when it affects the functionality of the item For example, if the outfit has long sleeves, most likely it will be made of 5+ meshgroups to hide bracelets and armbands (for adults). If you will import your item that is made of one meshgroup, only one out of these five meshgroups will be replaced while the rest will stay. If you are making something with a skirt-like bottom, most likely it will be affected by skirt bones. If you will import this item into the one started from a swimsuit (not affected by skirt bones), you or people using your cc might encounter severe distortions in-game (because those skirt bones are not present in the warehouse) Same goes for importing full body outfits into packages started from tops, all those bones from the lower body might act up.
Anyway, if your ruffles clip into accessories or shoes, it makes sense to separate them and tune this meshgroup to hide those accessories/part of the shoes. If no, then there is no point in separating them.
If your item does not cover feet, if my memory serves me well, there is a qipao inspired dress for toddlers made of 1 meshgroup that you can clone

Ive tried importing it on the qipao dress and on LOD0 it looks fine, but on LOD 1,2,3 it looks like this. :(

I've just checked and all lods have one meshgroup. Make sure you are saving lod1-3 in the version of blender that has s4studio cas tools. Make sure that the meshgroup are visible and have 0000 cut number
