Hi, im learning to create cc clothing and i have stumbled upon this problem a few times already. my mesh and texture in sims4studio looks absolutely fine but once i open it in cas it looks like this (first picture). why does this keep happening and how can i fix this? in cas: imgur.com/XqfYKbT in sims4studio: imgur.com/h06XZKh

Hi. See how the mesh distorts in the skirt area? You transferred weights from an item affected by skirt bones but started a package from an item that is not affected by them. Clone DressPanels and import your blend there

Clone DressPanels and import your blend there i tried to import my mesh blend file onto the package that i transfered the weights from this time, it did fix the part at the skirt but now there is a disortion like this at her left hand

When you open the catalogue with maxis items, there is a search bar at the top. If you were to type DressPanels there, you’d see the dress I meant. The distortion in the hand area generally means that the original item in the package had more meshgroups than your blend. Just use DressPanels

Just use DressPanels thanks now what dresspanels is, i tried it and it finally works! the dress still gets some little bumps sometimes when i play around with sliders but thats alright as long as it works. im proud i made it this far and thank you sm for the help!!

The bumps are caused by different things. Transfer weights and uv_1 with Nearest face interpolated and do not make the wireframe dense
