I'm brand spanking new to modding and am drawn to it right now because I want more teen Styled Looks in CAS. I've gone through this tutorial by mizoreyukii a million times:

I cannot get nails to stick. Looking through the outfits section of the Sim Info files, there is no indication of nails that were in the original saved outfit. So right now, I have a fully functioning new styled look, except the nails don't copy. Any help would be greatly appreciated by this newby!
