Hi!
It's my first time tring to do something like this, so please forgive me if this is something obvious or my explanation is awkward. I'm trying to create a new top by adding a hood from a base game hoodie to another base game top. I was following a tutorial and managed to get it looking ok in blender, and it's all merged into one object. However, when I import the mesh into S4S, the hood doesn't show up at all. What could be the problem here? I feel so clueless.

Hi. Your item has a wrong cut number and most likely the wrong number of meshgroups. More about it hereHow you would go about it the right way: - clone the item with the hood you want, export the blend, open. Find a meshgroups that has the hood, delete all parts of it that you don’t need. Delete other meshgroups if there are any. Optionally you can rename the remaining meshgroup to Hood. Save the blend, close it; - clone the top that you want to attach the hood to, export the blend, open. Append the hood in the scene from the first blend. The order in which you join meshgroups is important. First, in 3d view select the hood, then select the meshgroup of the top that contains the torso, join with Ctrl J. Now this part of the mesh has the right cut number; - check if the uvs of the hood in uv_0 do not overlap those of the top; - ideally you’d want to delete everything the hood covers and connect it to the shirt, but it may work as is; - save, import in the package with the top
